Manga/anime koja razbija sve romantične predrasude o vampirima.
Pošto su vampiri jedna od retkih ''rasa'' (u nedostatku bolje reči) koje Hrišćanstvo priznaje, oko njih se non stop spliću najneverovatnije moguće ljubavne, idelaizovane, idolizovane priče, dok je činjenica da su oni ipak i pre svega čudovišna deca koja svojim krvožednim aktovima mole za smrt, jer je ne-život paklena patnja.
Ali ne i Hellsing. Ovde se usamljene figure (pre svega legendarni Alukard) i organizacije veće od života bore za svoje parče kolača i motive samo njima znane.
Dok sam Hellsing postavlja scenu otvarajući poglavlje na samoj sredini knjige, njegov nastavak Hellsing Ultimate zatvara knjigu da daljnjeg.
Ukratko, Twilight je tunjavi brat od muške tetke Hellsinga, i da bi sve lepotane iz njega Alukard pocepao kao svinja mas'an džak.

Potresno i prosvetljujuće. Svi ljudi koji tripuju da su vampiri ( a ima ih više nego što mislite) bi trebali definitivno da pročitaju mangu.
Onda bi saznali da je sam Alukard pao u mrak kada ga je kao dete silovao rođeni otac.
Šah mat kvazi vampiri.
P.S. Da bi sprečila moguće izlive hejterstva, ovo se ne odnosi na ljude koji se zezaju i roll playkaju sa vremena na vreme iz zeza. Mislila sam na prave ludaje koji ugrađuju sebi veštačke očnjake, piju krv i spavaju u sanducima.
Paljevine jedne, oceniću kad odgledam, 2pavi mi odlepio za anime pa ćemo da pristupimo hledanju Helsinga kao da je romantična komedija :)

Ovak Ma'at Alukarda je silovao neki Turčin, a ne njegov ćale. Oni su mu takođe i ubili oca pa im se on tako osvećivao što ih je sve poubijao...
Ja sam ubeđena da je to njegov otac. Taj ''Turčin'' nosi krstove na sebi. Kačim sliku, pa se uveri sam.
Ja i dalje mislim da je u pitanju Turčin. Krstovi mogu biti i ukras, a i ono mi liči na turske vojnike...
Mislim da je takva bila moda. U redu, mišljena nam se razilaze, ali ja ostajem pri svom.

Mene najviše nervira što su stali sa The Dawn serijalom, koji govori o prvom susretu Valtera i Alukarda sa Milenijumom.

Emm... Cepes znaci nabijac, a ako se dobro secam lekcija iz istorije, Drakula ili znaci Djavo ili Zmaj...
Vreme je za veličanstveni rat:Hellsing,Iscariot i Millennium.Samo glupo je što Alucard opet preživi na kraju čemu poenta borbe.I ja nekad znam preterati sa ratovanjem.Nikad nisam trebao napuštati južnu Ameriku.

It moves me deep within my heart to watch a fresh recruit stabbing over and over into the bloated chest of a long-dead enemy.The sight of deserters being strung up from a street lamp is an irresistible pleasure.
And there is nothing more arousing, than the sounds made by prisoners of war dropping like flies, screaming in agony as they're mowed down by ear piercing schmeissers!
When a band of pitiful resistance fighters makes their final stands with nothing but small arms, only to have their city smashed to atoms block by block by 4.8 ton bombshells, I'm in ecstasy.
I love it when my forces are ravaged by a Russian armored division. It's so sad to see towns and villages that were supposed to be defended at all costs, being laid to waste,
their women and children being raped,and killed.
I love to be squashed under the heel of the British and American war machines.
The humiliation, as my men crawl around like vermin, ducking the yark bombers flying overhead.
